Ramakanta Behera is a seasoned management professional with over 20 years of experience in Healthcare IT, Hospital Management, Process Reengineering, and Medical Device Manufacturing & Licensing.
With a strong background in digital strategy, compliance, and operational profitability, he has advised hospitals and clinics (both profit and non-profit) on leveraging technology and process optimization to enhance efficiency. His expertise extends to setting up medical manufacturing units, ensuring ISO and CE certifications, and navigating medical device manufacturing licensing processes.
Previously, he played a pivotal role at Apollo Hospitals, leading hospital process transformation through digitization and SOP implementation across multiple facilities. His career also includes key positions at Robert Bosch and ThoughtWorks, where he contributed to technology innovations in home healthcare, remote care management, and digital adoption in low-resource healthcare settings.
An alumnus of ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad, he has also completed a Certificate Program in Strategic Outsourcing from IIM Ahmedabad, further strengthening his expertise in business strategy and healthcare operations.

Dr Saravana Kumar has been practicing Accident & Emergency Medicine. Being one of the few trained and qualified Emergency Physicians in the country, his training has made him adept in treating an array of Medical and Surgical emergencies including all major Trauma. Apart from being National Secretary for Society for Emergency Medicine, India, he has many awards and publications to his credit. Dr Saravana Kumar has been Executive Co-Chair & Past President, Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI) | Chair – Quality & Patient Safety SIG, IFEM.
